Boost Mobile to release Kyocera Hydro Icon

Boost Mobile will release the waterproof Kyocera Hydro Icon on June 17th.  This Military Standard 810G design smartphone will sell for $149.99.  Along with accidental drops of this smartphone, the Hydro Icon can be submerged in 3.23 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.  There is a 8-megapixel rear facing camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera, along with a 4.5 inch qHD capacitive, impact-resistant touchscreen display.  The Kyocera Hydro Icon will have Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz quad-core processor.  The 2000mAh Lithium ion battery gives this smartphone longer use on a single charge, but there is the Eco-Mode to help power management of apps.  You can read more specs and plan pricing at Boost Mobile.
