The Moto Z is now available. This unlocked GSM version is for AT&T, T-Mobile and other carriers using GSM networks. This smartphone has a 5.5" AMOLED Quad HD Corning Gorilla Glass display. The Moto Z uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 1.8 GHz Quad-core CPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. With the Moto Mod accessories of attachable speakers, projector, or camera the battery is only 2600 mAh. A user may have to charge this device during the day with heavy use. The rear-facing camera is 13MP and has Optical Image Stabilization, laser Autofocus and many extra features. This shoots 1080p HD video at (60 fps) and 4K video at (30 fps). The front-facing camera is 5MP with a wide-angle lens. The Moto Z is thin and is made from military aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel. Pixel is a smartphone made by Google. There are two sizes. The 5.0" FHD AMOLED Pixel has a 2770 mAh battery and the 5.5" QHD AMOLED Pixel XL has a 3450 mAh battery. They are both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 2.15Ghz and 1.6Ghz, 64 bit Quad-Core processor and Android 7.1 Nougat OS. There is a 12.3MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. This smartphone can shoot 1080p video at 30fps, 60fps, or 120fps. The Pixel is designed in Aerospace-grade aluminum unibody glass shade with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The LG V20 will be available soon with most wireless service providers. The V20 has a 5.7" Quad HD IPS display. This multimedia smartphone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with X12 LTE 2.15Ghz Quad-Core processor and Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Depending on usage the 3200 mAh removable battery should be okay for a full day of use. There are two rear-facing cameras. One is a 16MP standard-angle lens of 75 degrees and the second is an 8MP wide-angle lens of 135 degrees. Users can zoom in or zoom out continuously between standard and wide angle lenses. The front-facing camera is a 5MP wide-angle lens of 120 degrees. The HD video recording has a video manual mode for adjusting audio focus, white valance and more. Last week T-Mobile announced T-Mobile ONE. This week T-Mobile is changing the T-Mobile ONE and adding T-Mobile ONE Plus. Starting September 1st customers on T-Mobile ONE will get unlimited talk, unlimited text, and unlimited 4G LTE smartphone data. Customers on the T-Mobile ONE can purchase HD Day Passes for $3 per day. That means customers can stream all the HD video for 24 hours. For an additional $25 a month, per line, customers can get T-Mobile ONE Plus. ONE Plus customers get the unlimited talk, unlimited text, and unlimited 4G LTE data plus unlimited high-speed 4G LTE mobile hotspot data. This allows customers to connect another device or tablet to their mobile hotspot. The ONE Plus plan also gives customers unlimited HD Day Passes. Toggle to the 24 option to stream HD video. Blackberry is offering the DTEK50. The DTEK50 is for those who want security for their smartphone. The smartphone monitors the OS and then offers suggestions to the user on making their data more secure and private. This smartphone has a 5.2" scratch resistant display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa-Core, 64-bit processor and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The 2610 mAh battery could be larger so users may have to keep an eye on battery life with heavy use. Multimedia pictures should turn out fairly well with the 13MP rear-facing camera and 8MP front-facing camera. This smartphone also shoots 1080p HD video at 30fps.
