LG G Pad 8.3 LTE from Verizon

Verizon announced today that on March 6th the LG G Pad 8.3 LTE will be available.  You will be able to purchase it for $299.99 online and in stores.  With a new 2-year activation, you can purchase the LG G Pad 8.3 LTE for $99.99 from March 6th to March 10th, or $199.99 after March 10th with the same 2-year activation.
The LG G Pad 8.3 LTE has a 1.7 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor.  It runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.  The phone also has a 5 megapixel rear facing camera and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.  With the QSlide Function you can overlay two windows and adjust the sizing and transparency.  This phone has some nice features.  Follow the link to read more about the LG G Pad at LG.

T-Mobile JUMP Program Updated

On February 23rd T-Mobile updated their JUMP upgrade program.
First, they have added tablets to their upgrade program.  Second, they have eliminated the six-month waiting period before you can upgrade.  Third, there are no longer limits on the number of times you can upgrade.  
You trade in your eligible device to get full credit on all remaining payments.  Up to half  the original cost of the device, unless you paid for your device in full.

Verizons ALLSET Prepaid Plans

Verizon just announced their ALLSET PLANS.  These prepaid plans have different features for individual needs.  A basic phone can start off as low as $35 and a smartphone can start off as low as $45 with unlimited texting and 500 MB of data.  For a limited time, if you sign up for auto pay, Verizon will give you 1 GB of data per month.
If you need more data you can add BRIDGE DATA options whenever you want.  For $5 you get 500 MB with a 30-day expiration.  For $10 or $20 you get 1 GB or 3 GB respectively with a 90-day expiration for both.
Verizon is also offering unlimited texting to Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico at no additional cost.  Read the full news release at Verizon.
