AT&T switching to shared wireless data plans.

AT&T is following Verizon's move to shared wireless data plans.  AT&T will let customers keep their old plans for now.  No word if that will change in the future.  Take a look here at AT&T and see if you will switch.

Another Prepaid iPhone 4S Coming Soon!

Virgin Mobile will begin offering prepaid iPhone 4s beginning June 29th.  The plans will be $30-$50 per month.  Visit Virgin Mobile's site to register or get more details on their prepaid plans.

AT&T: Samsung Galaxy Appeal

AT&T has announced, beginning June 5, GoPhone customers will be able to purchase the Android-based Samsung Galaxy Appeal through Walmart.  Beginning July 15, other outlets will also offer this phone.

Per AT&Ts news release, the Samsung Galaxy Appeal is the first smartphone offered with the GoPhone service that features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, making this a good phone for messaging/email.  The Appeal's OS is Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and includes a 3 mega-pixel rear-facing camera with a 3X zoom.

Data plans for GoPhone customers are affordable:  1GB $25/month, 200MB $15/month, 50MB $5/month.
