Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact are Available

The Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact are now available in the United States.  These are the differences between the Z5 and Z5 Compact.  The Xperia Z5 has a display of 5.2 inches vs the 4.6 inches for the Z5 Compact.  RAM for the Z5 is 3GB vs 2GB and the battery for the Z5 is 2900 mAh vs 2700 mAh for the Z5 Compact.  Here are the specification that are the same for the Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact.  These smartphones run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 64-bit Quad-core 2.0 GHz processor and the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.  The pictures and movies for social media should be good with the 23MP Sony Exmor RS back-facing camera that can shoot 4K video and the 5MP Sony Exmor R front-facing camera that shoots HD video.  A little rain will not hurt with the IP65 Waterproof and IP68 dust-tight ratings for these smartphones.  These are unlocked and you can go to Sony if you wish to read more on the specifications.  If you wish to purchase the Sony Xperia Z5 or Sony Xperia Z5 Compact please go to Amazon (affiliate).

New Data Plans for Virgin Mobile

Virgin Mobile announced new data plans.  For $30 per month customers of the pre-paid phone service will get 500MG of data at 4G speeds.  For $40 per month you get 4GB of data and $60 per month gets you 6GB of data.  If the data is used up before the month is out the data speeds go to 2G.  If customers need more data they can purchase Data Packs.  The Data Pack extras are $5 for 1GB of data and $10 for 2GB of data.  All of these plans include unlimited talk and text.  Virgin Mobile also offers streaming music with some of the most popular music streaming services as well.  Go to Virgin Mobile for more plan details.  If you need more Virgin Mobile cell phone options please go to my Amazon Store. LG Tribute 5 available at Boost Mobile

The LG Tribute 5 is now available at Boost Mobile for $99.99 (plus tax).  This smartphone has a 5 inch IPS touchscreen display.  Taking pictures of your friends and family or taking selfies will not be to bad with the 5-megapixel rear facing camera and the 5-megapixel front facing camera.  The Tribute 5 is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 1.1 GHz quad-core processor.  The 2125mAh battery should keep your phone charged for most of the day depending on your use.  There are some nice features on this smartphone.  With Gesture shot, a selfie is as easy as a simple hand gesture.  The screen will also illuminate with the feature of the Selfie light.   The LG Tribute 5 is a great starter smartphone.  For more LG products please visit my Amazon Store.  (aff)  I also have more Boost Mobile smartphone options at my Amazon Store. Blackberry PRIV coming to T-Mobile

The PRIV by Blackberry will be available at T-Mobile on January 26th.  This smartphone has both an onscreen keyboard and a physical keyboard when sliding the phone up.  The PRIV is powered with the Android OS and a Qualcomm 808 Hexa-Core, 64-bit processor.  There is an 18 megapixel rear facing camera that shoots 1080p video and 2 megapixel front facing camera that shoots 720p video.  With a 3410 mAh battery this smartphone should last all day on a single charge.  For more Blackberry phones or accessories please head over to my Amazon store. HTC One A9

The HTC One A9 is available for pre-order.  The A9 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa-core 64 bit processor and Android 6.0 with HTC Sense OS.  The One A9 has a 5.0 inch Full HD 1080p Corning Gorilla Glass display.  There is a 13MP rear-facing camera that has 1080p video recording.  The front-facing camera is HTC UltraPixel fixed focus that also shoots 1080p video.  The audio should be good for a cell phone with the Dolby Audio with Hi-Res Audio.  This smartphone only has a 2150mAh battery so a user may have to charge during the day if they are a heavy user.  For more specs you can go to the HTC website.  If you are interested in other HTC phones please go to my Amazon Store.  (aff)
