T-Mobile signs Telecom deal with Cuba

T-Mobile recently announced an agreement for interconnect & roaming with Cuban Telecom, Empresa De Telecommunications De Cuba S.A.  This agreement will allow T-Mobile to help open communications between the U.S. and Cuba, allowing more affordable voice calling.  This agreement also benefit customers traveling to Cuba in utilizing data, text, and voice calling.  For more T-Mobile phones please visit my Amazon Affiliate Store.

Quick Look at iPhone SE

Not buying the iPhone SE?  This is what you missed.  The SE has a 4 inch diagonal display.  The SE is powered by an A9 with 64-bit Architecture Embedded M9 motion coprocessor and iOS 9.  The rear-facing camera is 12-megapixel and can shoot 4K video.  The front-facing camera is 1.2-megapixel and can shoot 720p video.  The SE comes in silver, gold, space gray and rose gold.  Yes, the iPhone SE has the fingerprint sensor for unlocking and Apple Pay.  This is a good smartphone but most people this time of year are hoping and waiting for an iPhone 7 announcement sometime in September.  For more iPhones and accessories please visit my Amazon (affiliate) page.

The HTC 10 Available Soon

The HTC 10 will soon be available.  This smartphone has a 5.2 inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 Curved Gorilla Glass display.  The 10 is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Quad core 2.2 GHz processor and Android 6 with HTC Sense OS.  With a 3000 mAh battery this smartphone should handle all your social media needs for a day.  The rear-facing camera is 12MP and can shoot 4K video and the front-facing camera is 5MP that can shoot 1080p video.  The HTC 10 has HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition.  This HTC does not have the known speakers on the front - top and bottom of the phone like previous models.  The speakers are on the back and bottom of this smartphone.  Please check with your service provider for pricing and availability. The LG G5 is Available Soon

The LG G5 will soon be available.  This smartphone is unique in that it has a Slide-Out for changing the 2800 mAh battery.  The G5 has a 5.3 inch Quantum QHD Display and a modular metal body.  The colors will vary depending on which service provider you purchase the G5 from.  With the Slide-Out option this means LG has made peripherals for the G5.  This smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 2.15 GHz Quad-Core processor and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.  There are dual rear-facing cameras with a wide angle lens and a 16MP lens.  The front-facing camera is an 8MP lens.  The rear-facing camera can also shoot 4K video.  The display has a daylight mode so the screen should be visible even in bright environments.  This should be a phone to take everywhere for all your social media needs.  Check with your service provider for availability and pricing.  For more LG phones please go to my Amazon (affiliate).

Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact are Available

The Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact are now available in the United States.  These are the differences between the Z5 and Z5 Compact.  The Xperia Z5 has a display of 5.2 inches vs the 4.6 inches for the Z5 Compact.  RAM for the Z5 is 3GB vs 2GB and the battery for the Z5 is 2900 mAh vs 2700 mAh for the Z5 Compact.  Here are the specification that are the same for the Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact.  These smartphones run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 64-bit Quad-core 2.0 GHz processor and the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.  The pictures and movies for social media should be good with the 23MP Sony Exmor RS back-facing camera that can shoot 4K video and the 5MP Sony Exmor R front-facing camera that shoots HD video.  A little rain will not hurt with the IP65 Waterproof and IP68 dust-tight ratings for these smartphones.  These are unlocked and you can go to Sony if you wish to read more on the specifications.  If you wish to purchase the Sony Xperia Z5 or Sony Xperia Z5 Compact please go to Amazon (affiliate).

New Data Plans for Virgin Mobile

Virgin Mobile announced new data plans.  For $30 per month customers of the pre-paid phone service will get 500MG of data at 4G speeds.  For $40 per month you get 4GB of data and $60 per month gets you 6GB of data.  If the data is used up before the month is out the data speeds go to 2G.  If customers need more data they can purchase Data Packs.  The Data Pack extras are $5 for 1GB of data and $10 for 2GB of data.  All of these plans include unlimited talk and text.  Virgin Mobile also offers streaming music with some of the most popular music streaming services as well.  Go to Virgin Mobile for more plan details.  If you need more Virgin Mobile cell phone options please go to my Amazon Store.
