AT&T GoPhone to get Nokia Lumia 520
The Nokia Lumia 520 which is 4G-capable will be available for $99.99. This AT&T GoPhone will be available July 26th. This offers the Windows Operating System with some good features such as a 5-megapixel camera, super-wide angled capability, and super sensitive 4-inch IPS LCD WVGA display which allows the phone to be used with fingernails or while wearing gloves. Next with AT&T
On July 26th AT&T will have a phone or tablet upgrade program called AT&T Next. New customers or customers eligible for upgrade just need to agree to pay monthly installments for 12 months. After 12 months they can upgrade to a new device, or keep using their device and continue paying the installments for 20 more months. Customers can continue to do this with no down payment. Virgin Mobile offering the LG Optimus F3
Virgin Mobile is offering the long lasting battery (2460 MAH), Android 4.1.2 Jellybean, LG Optimus F3 starting today. Virgin Mobile will offer the phone for $179.99 on their Beyond Talk no-contract plan. This phone has a large 4" Gorilla Glass 2 display for watching videos. There are some fun features on this phone. With VuTalk you can send hand written messages and photos back and forth to other VuTalk capable phones in real time. With QuickMemo you can write or draw on the screen with your finger. Phone Upgrade with Verizon Edge
T-Mobile has recently announced their JUMP phone upgrade program. Now Verizon is offering a similar phone upgrade program with Verizon Edge which will be available August 25th. If you sign up for Verizon Edge, they will take the price of the phone and divide it over 24 months. You pay the first month when you sign up. After six months, as long as 50% of the phone you are currently using is paid for, you can get a new phone and start the process over. T-Mobile offers JUMP
T-Mobile started JUMP on July 14th. This gives T-Mobile customers a chance to upgrade their phones up to twice a year as soon as six month from enrollment. Also on July 14th T-Mobile is offering families on the Simple Choice Plan, four phones with unlimited talk, text, and web up to 500MB for just $100. Kyocera Hydro Edge is Waterproof
Boost Mobile will offer the Waterproof Kyocera Hydro Edge for pre-order on July 19th and will be available on July 23rd. This phone can be submerged in up to 3.28 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. This Android Smartphone has no contract since its with Boost Mobile. Read more about it here.
Sprint to offer Tri-band 4G LTE with MiFi 500 LTE
On July 19th Sprint will offer the Tri-band 4G LTE with MiFi 500 LTE by Novatel Wireless. The device will provide access to Sprints 4G LTE network at 800MHz, 1.9GHz and 2.5GHz. AT&T to acquire Leap Wireless
AT&T has entered a deal to acquire Leap Wireless which operates under the name Cricket Wireless. The deal should offer more phone choices for Cricket customers. AT&T plans to keep the Cricket brand name. Head on over to AT&T to read all the details.
